	Manufacturing Orbital Energy's manufacturing facilities are staffed by skilled craftsmen familiar with the stringent inspection protocols of gas turbine work. Orbital Energy has achieved ISO 9001:2000 approval and all of our manufacturing is performed at least to this standard. Many individual projects require far more stringent quality control systems to be in place (such as our work for Nuclear power stations). Our facilities are geared towards accommodating such requirements by isolating tools and materials on a per project basis. We have specified a number of types of tool (such as Torque wrenches) which are not allowed on site unless they are under current calibration control. This is to prevent the scenario of an employee accidentally using a non calibrated tool on a critical piece of equipment. All of our sub contractors and suppliers are also held to the same high quality standard, further reducing the risk of product failure. Orbital Energy custom manufactures and/or refurbishes most ancillary gas turbine equipment, including oil pump gear, fuel skids, power turbines, engine cradles and stands. We can also provide management of overhauls on behalf of clients at any of the major overhaul shops around the world.
