Orbital Energy refurbishes the GEC EAS1 series of power turbines using original manufacturer drawings and high quality materials.

After undergoing an Orbital Energy refurbishment, which includes a completely remanufactured volute, the EAS1 is ready to provide another thirty years of reliable service. 

As part of the re-manufacturing process the core undergoes magnetic particle inspection and ultrasonic thickness testing. All the pumps and motors are refurbished, the rotor blades are removed and crack tested and the rotor balanced. All welds are subjected to magnetic particle inspection to verify their integrity, all instrumentation panels refurbished and the oil tank repaired, shot blasted and painted with heat protected paint.
